Free home energy use assessment (Wellington)

Part of Wellington City Council climate change response plan:

"The assessor will bring a range of easy-to-install products - such as flow restrictors for taps, hot water pipe lagging and energy efficient light bulbs - and put them in on the spot if you want them to. A low-flow shower head, for example, will reduce water flow from 18 litres per minute to 7.5 litres. We will pay 50 percent of the cost of these up to a total of $115. If you are on a tight budget, the coach can also explain the help on offer for insulation and energy efficient heating systems through the Government's Warm Up New Zealand: Heat Smart scheme"
